What is the MIP process aka? ›

The Sorority's undergraduate Membership Intake Process (MIP) begins when an Official Acceptance Letter is received. THERE WILL BE NO MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES BETWEEN RUSH AND RECEIPT OF THIS OFFICIAL LETTER. MIP activities in the name of the Sorority prior to Rush are prohibited.

Graduate chapters do not accept letters of interest. Graduate membership is by invitation only and is not solicited. Women seeking membership should visit the International Website for more information regarding the sorority and qualifications for membership.

Completion of a baccalaureate degree, with at least a C+ cumulative average, or a graduate or professional degree (Ph. D., M.D., J.D., etc.) from an accredited college or university. C+ is equivalent to a 2.50 on a 4.0 scale if the school does not have a plus or minus on the grading scale.

Begin the official Membership Intake Process (MiP).

You'll start this process when you receive a Letter of Acceptance after Rush. There are no membership activities between Rush and receiving an acceptance letter, and participating in prohibited events during this time could impact potential membership.
